The Afreecalance Code of Ethics establishes the fundamental principles of integrity, mutual respect and professionalism that must guide all interactions between Freelancers, Clients and the platform. By using our services, you commit to respecting these standards which guarantee a reliable and prosperous working community in West Africa.
Every User, Freelancer or Client, must present truthful and accurate information. Freelancers must not falsify their references, level of experience or portfolio. Clients must provide clear and realistic Mission descriptions.
The Afreecalance Platform is a professional workspace. Any form of discrimination, harassment, abusive language or disrespectful behavior is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate sanctions.
Communications must be constructive and respectful, regardless of the interlocutor's status. Feedback, whether positive or negative, must be professionally formulated.
Fundamental rule: Treat all members of the Afreecalance community with the same level of courtesy and fairness that you expect in return.
The Freelancer undertakes to provide work of a quality consistent with market professional standards and the requirements defined in the Mission specifications.
The Freelancer is required to treat all information obtained as part of a Mission (data, documents, strategies) as strictly confidential and never disclose it to third parties.
Unless otherwise mentioned in the Mission contract, the intellectual property of the delivered work is transferred to the Client upon complete and validated payment. Freelancers must guarantee that their deliverables do not violate any third-party copyright or IP rights.
Afreecalance provides a secure service (fund escrow, payment guarantee). To maintain this environment, bypassing the Platform is prohibited.
Any violation of this Code of Ethics must be reported immediately to the Afreecalance team via support. Violations may result in warnings, profile rating degradation, temporary suspension, or permanent account deactivation.
